Hard, crunchy shell. Soft, chewy middle

Surgery for the conscious has a certain crunch to it.
Bones being crushed by pliers.
Then the reflexive, gentle act of picking out the broken pieces.
The nurse squeezing your hand with the vision of what is taking place.
Picture yourself biting into some Skittles or M&Ms.
The soft crunch followed by the gooey middle.
Calcium then marrow.
Bone then pulp then shooting fountains of blood.
Major organs wondering what the fuck is going on.
Then, the feeling of someone lacing and stitching a shoelace over a wound spilling over with blood like water though a levy broken.
That’s surgery.

Ya... -but-... Lemon juice in a finger cut hurts. Bad. {Obscenities were screamed...Think "Tourette's Guy".}
35 stitches? :/ You must have some goooood drugs. Feel better, PK!

In reply to your comment... I don't know what I want. Never have. {Wanna go to Vegas with me?}

You didn't mention the lemon juice part. That is some serious, acute pain.

Yes, I have gooooood drugs. And I have to be a goooooood boy with them. They're also dangerous drugs. No driving for me for awhile. Thankfully, I have little need to drive.

Vegas? I think I'm banned from the town for awhile. (Why didn't you ask me this in May?) Plus, I'm nurturing a spark. Call soon. I'm sure we have much to talk about.
