Sometimes, it’s more about what you leave out than what you put in
Sometimes, it’s more about what you don’t say than what you tell
Sometimes, it’s not about all that you have, but all that you’re not saddled with
Sometimes, it’s not about what you are, but what you aren’t
Sometimes, it’s not about who you are, but who you aren’t
Sometimes you shouldn’t listen to The Fray after you get mega baked with your neighbors after your hard wired smoke alarm starts going off and nobody knows why and it’s only because it has this super added bonus feature that makes it (the smoke alarm) freak the fuck out after the emergency spare battery dies and it starts squawking like a deaf parrot on bad acid at about 200 decibels that there is a carbon monoxide battery dead fire fire fire happening. Then the Bryan Album Adams comes on and everyone starts singing about the Summer of 69 and since when did that Canadian popsmith become the choice of stoners because once upon a time it was all about Floyd and Zep and Genesis and more recently Afghan Whigs and Sunny Day Real Estate and Soundgarden and even after that we had Green Day and Sublime and of course the best ever of them all Radiohead. Today it's Kings of Leon. I’ll stop the world. I’ll melt with you.
Sometimes, things have been posted in this space to distract people from going below the screen scroll. This is not one of those times.
